Carbon-Ti X-Hub MTB SL

Carbon-Ti will introduce at Eurobike exhibition in Friedrichshafen (Ger) from 29/8 to 1/9 2012 (booth A1/421) the new mountain bike X-Hub MTB SL.

The X-Hub MTB SL, designed and made entirely in Italy, is considerably stiffer, faster and lighter than than the previous one and it is positioned at the top of the market. The goal has been achieved thanks to the new AL7075 axes with variable thickness increased to 17 mm diameter, to the high quality Enduro ABEC 5 bearings, to the central body lightened by meticulous works with CNC machine.
The oversize geometry of the flanges assures an essential stiffness for the 29er wheels assembly.
The useful "Bearing Preload System" is adjustable by hand without the use of any tools.

The freewheel is provided by a 28-tooth titanium ring and four pawls. The X-Hub MTB SL will be available in standard and thru-axle QR15 and X-12 versions.

New 2011 X-Ring EVO chainrings and new X-Rotor TitanCarbon & SteelCarbon

Few days after the official presentation at the international exhibition Eurobike in Friedrichshafen here are described the most impotant news that Carbon-Ti has prepared for the 2011 season.

X-Ring EVO
The study for innovative solutions for R&D Carbon-Ti department this year shows important news that can reach new benchmarks of excellence for the market.
The patented technology used in the newest carbon fiber or titanium chainrings for MTB or roadbikes named "Evo" is proposed to make the shiftings even more smooth and precise. To do this some elements have been applied to the main structure of the chainring so shaped that the descent of the chain from the largest chainring is attended exactly on the smallest gear. These inserts are made of carbon fiber for the X-Ring Al/Carbon EVO chainrings or technopolymer (Delrin) for X-Ring Titanium EVO chainrings. For the first time also there are ramps realized in the carbon fiber body in combination with titanium pin for even better shifting performances.

X-Double Titanium Evo & Carbon Titanium Kit
The X-Double Kit allows the conversion of 104/64mm triple cranks to doubles modifying the original chainrings position. The new Titanium Evo or Carbon Titanium kit are compatible also with new FC-M980 XTR crankset. (see the photos).

X-Fix XX
X-Fix XX are the new Al7075 chainrings screws for SRAM XX or new 2011 X.0 and X.9. The kit contains n°4 M10 males and n°4 standard males 4 male and works perfectly with the original SRAM XX or Carbon-Ti chainrings for 120/80 BCD. The X-Fix XX kit is added to the other X-Fix MTB, ROAD and XS (this last kit is for the transformation from triple to double).

X-Rotor TitanCarbon & Steel Carbon MY2011 disc rotors

The X-Rotor TitanCarbon & SteelCArbon represent the highest level of technology available on the market. The carrier is made of hi-quality carbon fiber and the rivets (washers included!) are in titanium grade 5. The X-Rotor TitanCarbon disc rotors with titanium with a special hi-performance coating brake surface (like the known Full Titanium version) are at the top for lightness and for refinement of solutions.
The SteelCarbon version with steel braking surface can be used with any type of pads and assures best performance even in most extreme muddy conditions.
